What is the level of commitment for a competitive team?

It varies based on age level and the tier of competition, but typically there are two (1 hour) practices during week nights, and games on the weekend.  We try our best to go opposite nights of hockey/ringette, but it is not guaranteed.

Teams are usually entered into two tournaments, plus the end of year playoff tournament.

 

What are the registration fees?

For a competitive team, registration fees are $700.00 for the year.  This includes court times, league fees, referee costs, and entrance fees into two tournaments.

Unlike other sports, there is no fundraising unless your team chooses to enter into additional tournaments, buy team merchandise etc.

There is no cost to try out for the team, and a link for registration will be forwarded if your child makes the team.

Dependent on the amount of interest, and gym space available, House League Teams may be created (Fees = $300 for the year)

 

Can I volunteer to help out?

Absolutely!  Our program is always in need of volunteers for coaches, managers, clock and scoresheet.  Without these positions, we cannot run our program!  Please click on the link on the main page to fill out a google doc.  Please note that there is a discount on registration for the children of coaches.
